As part of the urban policy, the municipalities will be assisted and supported in urban regeneration, in adapting to climate change and in designing high-quality urban development projects. Urban development will also be carried out in close cooperation with the municipalities of the three conurbations of Agglo-Centre, Région Sud and Nordstad, within which the development companies will further encourage the creation of new synergies.

A climate adaptation strategy has been developed, but it is still in the drafting phase. Concrete details on how quickly the implementation is intended to progress or which financial resources will be allocated are also not known.
