Right to repair

The Government will encourage all initiatives that promote the durability and reparability of products. In this context, the Government will examine the appropriateness of introducing a financial incentive to reduce the costs of repair.

Although meetings on the topic did take place, no concrete implementation steps are known to date. It is, however, positive that municipalities have taken action—although this cannot be attributed to the state’s initiative.
