The Government will step up the fight against environmental crime, particularly river pollution. Those responsible must be held more accountable. To this end, the Government will extend the powers of the Water Management Administration. A hotline enabling citizens to report pollution directly will be set up.

No recent concrete work on this matter is known. Although a seminar on renaturation did take place, no results are available, let alone any concrete proposals for implementation.

However, a hotline has been set up on the website of the “Administration pour la gestion de l’eau” where pollution can be reported, which is then forwarded to the CGDIs.
