Promoting energy cooperatives

The Government will support the operation of photovoltaic installations by cooperatives through appropriate advice and assistance.

In the context of the pre-financing of photovoltaic installations, it became clear that energy cooperatives had not been considered. As a result, the conditions – and particularly the feed-in tariff – pose a real barrier for existing cooperatives and hinder the creation of new ones. Following discussions with the Ministry of Economy and Energy, an adjustment was promised, but to date it has not been implemented.
