The Government will commission the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to carry out a study on the management of public finances in Luxembourg with the aim of identifying ways of modernising budgeting practices and introducing budget management by objectives in the Grand Duchy.

The Minister of Finance was very open to conducting such a study in a meeting with the Mouvement Ecologique, nothing has happened to date (the meeting took place in October 2025).
