The Government will commission the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to carry out a study on the management of public finances in Luxembourg with the aim of identifying ways of modernising budgeting practices and introducing budget management by objectives in the Grand Duchy.

It is not known whether such a study was commissioned. The fact is that budgets are still organised according to traditional criteria. To date, for example, there has been no integration of green budgeting criteria.
