As part of the urban policy, the municipalities will be assisted and supported in urban regeneration, in adapting to climate change and in designing high-quality urban development projects. Urban development will also be carried out in close cooperation with the municipalities of the three conurbations of Agglo-Centre, Région Sud and Nordstad, within which the development companies will further encourage the creation of new synergies.

On ne connaît pas de travaux concrets à ce sujet. Toutefois, des projets pilotes (p. ex. dans le cadre de la revitalisation de friches industrielles) visent à créer des espaces verts, etc. et des travaux sont en cours pour élaborer une stratégie d’adaptation au climat. Il n’existe toutefois pas encore de document officiel concernant cette dernière.
