The Government will continue the efforts made over the last few terms of office to create drinking water protection zones, while evaluating the effectiveness of the measures taken. Given that around 90% of the country’s water sources are currently protected, the Government will also target the remaining 10% as part of a cooperative approach involving all stakeholders.

While work is certainly being carried out in this area, no concrete results or projects are publicly known.
